Paul Moore
Paul is the operational lead for the BBC Public Service Music Rights & Reporting teams, overseeing the licensing, clearing, and commissioning of new music, as well as reporting all music usage across the BBC’s platforms. He is the principal stakeholder in the BBC’s music library and clearance system, BBC MusicBox, and plays a crucial role in shaping and implementing the music use strategy for the BBC Public Service.
With over 30 years of experience in the music and media industries, Paul has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by both broadcasters and rights owners in the rapidly evolving digital landscape. He has been a strong advocate for leveraging technology to enhance human creativity. Before his current role, Paul led a music-focused team at BBC Studios Distribution, bringing his extensive expertise to the forefront of the BBC's music operations.
