Paal Larsen
Paal Larsen is a Norway-based entrepreneur, investor, and SaaS executive recognized for scaling global ventures and building high-performing teams.
In the early 2000s, he worked in the U.S. music industry, where he played a key role in artist development and helped launch the international careers of several major-label acts signed to Warner Music, Universal Music, and others.
Transitioning into tech, he spent 18 years on the global leadership team at Meltwater, driving the company’s international growth and playing a pivotal role in its $1 billion IPO in 2020.
Larsen is currently involved with over 20 startups and scale-ups across the Nordics and the U.S., working in SaaS, software/hardware, AI, robotics, and sustainability. As co-founder of the Terravera Foundation, he advocates for responsible innovation and sustainable business practices. Most recently, he co-founded Music Group Technologies (MGT), a company headquartered in Austin, Texas, that is reimagining how music professionals collaborate, create, and monetize—bringing modern technologies to an industry still reliant on outdated tools.
